Many times we need to receive verification codes on our phones and then use them on our computers to log in, which can be a bit cumbersome if done manually.
If you are an iPhone + Mac user, you can use the method of messauto + imessage to synchronize and automatically copy verification codes.
-
iPhone and Mac Message Synchronization
In the iPhone settings - Messages - Text Message Forwarding, check the Mac device you want to forward messages to.
Then, in the corresponding Mac's Messages settings - enable iCloud "Messages" in iCloud settings. It is important to note that the iCloud accounts you log into on both the iPhone and Mac must be the same. Once set up, message synchronization is achieved, and you can see SMS from the iPhone in the Mac's Messages.

Install messauto and set it up.
Next, we need to install messauto, the address is https://github.com/LeeeSe/MessAuto
Versions:
MessAuto_aarch64 - Apple chip
MessAuto_x86_64 - Intel chip
After downloading and extracting, drag it to the Applications folder. Click on the status bar at the top to see the messauto icon appear. I personally recommend checking the options for [Auto Paste] and [Launch at Login]. If you check [Auto Paste], it will prompt you to authorize accessibility features; follow the instructions to enable it.
Then you will have achieved synchronization and automatic copying of verification codes.
